AquaSave Chosen to Help GSWC Drive Water Conservation Home

AquaSave Network members Steve Rose, Landscape Architectural Consultant, ASLA,; Certified Irrigation Designers (CIDs) Ted Hunt and Cong Phui of Jardinier; Green World Solutions; Prunin Arborists; Casillas Landscape Inc. and AquaSave president, Bob Simpson, are hard at work fulfilling on a new master contract sourced on their behalf by AquaSave.

Our growing network of smart irrigation specialists and water management experts were chosen by Golden State Water Company (GSWC) to produce a water-conserving landscape renovation at its San Dimas headquarters.

The most exciting aspect of this project, is the conservation demonstration garden that will be constructed by AquaSave members to help bring new ideas, strategies and resources for the latest water conservation technologies, drought-tolerant plant materials and maintenance techniques to GSWC customers at both commercial properties and at home.

Providing water service to about 255,000 customers (or 1 million people) in California, GSWC is taking a proactive approach to reducing its own water consumption through smart landscape and irrigation design.

Having already completed the GreenWorld® GPS Water Audit, an exclusive AquaSave service that uses satellite feeds to track, measure and quantify water usage, we will be able to develop a landscape design that allows GSWC to maximize its water distribution and minimize waste. Post-construction, AquaSave members will also provide on-going landscape maintenance services and operate an AquaSave Irrigation Management program.
